From Discovery to Design: Our Golden Prehnite Journey
1960s — Discovery
The story of our Australian golden prehnite mine stretches back decades. In the 1960s, during a prospecting expedition in Australia’s Northern Territory, the mine owner’s husband, Gerald Reginald Pauley, chanced upon an exceptionally rare vein of golden-yellow prehnite—one of the world’s scarcest varieties. Limited in yield and of extraordinary beauty, this distinctive gemstone has since become a coveted treasure among collectors and jewellery connoisseurs.
2013 — Full Mining Rights
In 2013, she decisively bought out the mining rights in full from Gerald’s former partner, taking complete control of the operation. The mine is now managed by his wife, Linna, who oversees the export of raw ore to China for processing in Ketang, Shanwei City, working hand-in-hand with trusted jewellery manufacturers.
2024 — Sales & Design
2024, the mine owner’s only daughter—Yijing Huang (Yuna) oversees part of the finished-product sales and jewelry design. A gemologist and jewelry design student, she also founded Fancy Harmony, based in her Blackburn crystal studio in Melbourne. The studio offers energy crystal bracelet customization, fine gemstone bespoke services, and corporate jewelry design projects—bringing Australian Golden Prehnite to a wider audience through contemporary design.
2024 — Award-Winning Golden Prehnite
In 2024, our unwavering pursuit of excellence in Australian golden prehnite earned international acclaim. Our Chinese partner, Guangzhou Hongtiancheng Jewelry Culture Communication Co., Ltd., was awarded the Best Emerging Category Prize (Golden Prehnite) at the third Aurora Brilliance Jewelry Awards. This accolade not only celebrates the rare beauty of golden prehnite but also stands as the ultimate testament to our commitment to uncompromising craftsmanship and visionary design.
